Model of cars 1-series, modification 116i started producing by BMW from 2009 and terminated in 2011. This five-door hatchback has a length of 4.2 meters, weight 1.3 tons and is designed to fit 5 people including the driver.

Back wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 195/55R16.
In conformity with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of BMW 1-series gained the maximum quantity of stars - five, indicating that it is a highly safe vehicle. Furthermore to dynamic safety (ESP, EBD, Brake assistant, Traction control, ABS), it is also has passive systems of safety (head/curtain, side, driver, passenger airbags).
