From 2007 BMW launched production of autos type 3-series Cabrio, modification of 330d Cabrio Executive and closed it in 2010. This 2-door cabriolet has a length of 4.6 meters, weight 1.7 tons and is assigned to sit 4 passengers total.

«3-series Cabrio 330d Cabrio Executive» have a rear-wheel drive auto with a 6-speed sequential automatic gearbox. 6-cylinders diesel motor with «common rail fuel system» can generate power 231 horsepower at 4000 rmp, allowing you to speed up the automobile for 7.1 s to 100 km/h and obtain maximum speed of 243 km/h.

Fuel consumption is 9.3 liters in the city mode of driving, on the suburban 5.5 liters, and the medium fuel rate is 6.9 l per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank volume is 61 l of diesel, what lets to go approximately 885 kilometers unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 330 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis using suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Back wheels have ventilated disks, 336 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the following size - 225/45R17.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of BMW 3-series Cabrio received the maximum number of stars - five, which means that it is a perfect safe car. Furthermore to dynamic safety features (EBD, ESP, Brake assistant, Traction control, ABS), it is also has passive safety (head/curtain, passenger, side, driver airbags).
