In 2012 BMW started manufacture of automobiles model 3-series Touring, modification of 316d Touring Executive. This automobile has five doors, the body is shaped like a wagon, weight 1.5 tons and length 4.6 meters, that can seat 5 men in sum.
«3-series Touring 316d Touring Executive» have a rear-wheel drive auto with a 8-speed sequential automatic gearbox. This automobile can speed up for 11.1 s to 100 km/h, with a top speed of 198 km/h, thanks to a 4-cylinders diesel motor with a «common rail system», which generate a max output of 116 horsepower at 4000 rpm.

BMW 3-series Touring is not certified for Euro NCAP crash test. In addition to passive safety (head/curtain, side, driver, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with active systems of safety such as ABS, Traction control, Brake assistant, ESP, EBD.
