BMW launched production from 2011 of cars model 5-series, modification 528i xDrive Executive. This 4-door sedan has a length of 4.9 meters, weight 1.7 tons and is assigned to sit 5 person including the driver.

«5-series 528i xDrive Executive» car with a 8-speed sequential automatic gear shift is connected to the full-wheels. This car can speed up for 6.5 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 246 km/h, thanks to a 4-cylinders petrol motor with a «direct injection system», which produce a max output of 245 hp at 5000 rpm.

Fuel consumption is 9.2 liters in the city driving mode, on the highway 5.7 l, and the average fuel rate is 7 liters per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank volume is 70 liters of petrol, what lets to go approximately 1000 kilometers unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 348 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis using suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Back wheels have ventilated disks, 330 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis through suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the following size - 225/55R17.

In accordance with the information of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of BMW 5-series gained the maximal number of stars - five, which means that it is a very safe auto. Furthermore to passive safety (side, head/curtain, passenger, driver airbags), it is also equipped with active systems of safety such as EBD, ABS, Brake assistant, Traction control, ESP.
