BMW 7-series · 750i · Sedan · 1996 ‐ 1998

In 1996 BMW launched production of automobiles model 7-series, modification of 750i and terminated it in 1998. This automobile has four doors, the body chassis is shaped like a sedan, weight 2 tons and length 5 meters, which allows a seat 5 people total.

«7-series 750i» have a rear wheel drive vehicle with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle can be accelerated for 6.6 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 250 km/h, due to a 12-cylinders petrol motor with a «multipoint injection system», which produce a max output of 326 horsepower at 5000 rpm.

Fuel rate is 21.2 l in the city mode of driving, on the track 10.2 liters, and the mixed fuel consumption is 14.2 liters per 100 km. Tank capacity is 95 l of petrol, what lets to go about 670 kilometers unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the undercarriage with help of suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Back wheels have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the chassis by dint of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next size - 235/60WR16.

BMW 7-series is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to active safety (ESP, ABS, Traction control), it is also equipped with passive safety features (side, head/curtain, driver, passenger airbags).
