From 2008 Dodge launched manufacture of autos model Journey, modification of 2.0 CRD R/T and finished it in 2011. In this auto can sit 5 people including the driver, it has minivan body type with five doors, and length 4.9 meters, weight 1.8 tons.

«Journey 2.0 CRD R/T» is a front-wheel drive automobile with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. This car can speed up for 10.5 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 200 km/h, owing to a 4-cylinders diesel motor engine with a «unit injector system», which generate a maximum power of 140 horsepower at 4000 rpm.

Fuel consumption is 8.2 l in the city driving mode, on the highway 5.1 liters, and the mixed fuel consumption is 6.2 l per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank capacity is 77 liters of diesel, what allow you to go approximately 1242 km without refueling.

The forward wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 302 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Back wheels have disks, 305 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the following size - 225/65R16.

Dodge Journey is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic systems of safety (Brake assistant, ABS, EBD, Traction control, ESP), it is also equipped with passive safety features (driver, side, head/curtain, passenger airbags).
