FERRARI 599 · photos, packages and modifications
The Ferrari produced an Italian gran turismo in the name of the 599 GTB Fiorano that had the internal code as F141. It was launched as the 2007 model, in order to replace the 575 M Maranello in 2006 with the two-seat flagship brand. But, the model was replaced for the 2013 model year by the model F12 Berlinetta.
In February 2006 the 599 GTB was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, which was designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Frank Stephenson of Ferrari. Because of the features such as Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, total engine displacement of up to 5999 cc and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari, it had come up with the best name in the market.
This was treated as the most powerful series production road car of the time by Ferrari because of the Tipo F140C 6.0 liter as 5934 cc V12 engine, which was capable of offering a maximum 620 PS or 456 kW with 612 horsepower. This was the model available with the engine, which was able to offer more than 100 horsepower output per liter of displacement that too without any sort of forced-induction mechanism that were used in other models such as turbocharging or supercharging. The GT version of these model cars came with new records in the Ferrari range because of the 608 N.m or 448 ft-lbf torque.
It was also offered with 6-speed manual transmission as well as the 6-speed of Ferrari called as F1 SuperFast. This model was mentioned as the car offering very comfortable ride with MagneRide suspension by the reviewers and also as the car to handle in an efficient way at the same time.
