In 2012 Ford began manufacture of automobiles model B-MAX, modification 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium. This auto has five doors, the body is in the form a minivan, weight 1.2 tons and length 4.1 meters, that allows a seat 5 people in sum.

«B-MAX 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium» car with a 5-speed manual transmission is fitted to the front wheels. The 3-cylinders petrol engine with «direct injection system» can produce power 120 hp at 6000 rmp, which allows you to speed up the car for 11.2 s to 100 km/h and achieve ceiling speed of 189 km/h.

Fuel rate is 6 l in the city mode of driving, on the suburban 4.2 liters, and the normal fuel consumption is 4.9 liters per 100 km. Fuel tank capacity is 48 l of petrol, what lets to go about 980 km unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the chassis with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Rear wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the underframe through suspension type «Semi-independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 195/55R16.

Ford B-MAX is not certified for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to active safety features (Traction control, EBD, Brake assistant, ESP, ABS), it is also has passive safety (side, passenger, driver, head/curtain airbags).
