From 2008 Ford launched manufacture of cars model Mondeo Wagon, modification 2.0 TDCi Trend and closed it in 2010. This five-door wagon has a length of 4.8 meters, weight 1.5 tons and is designed to fit 5 passengers total.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis using suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Back wheels have disks, 302 mm brakes and attached to the chassis with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the following measure - 215/55R16.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Ford Mondeo Wagon got the higher quantity of stars - 5, which indicates that it is a highly safe automobile. In addition to dynamic safety (ESP, ABS, Traction control, Brake assistant, EBD), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (side, passenger, driver, head/curtain airbags).
