Rear wheels have disks, 302 mm brakes and attached to the underframe by dint of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next size - 215/55R16.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Ford Mondeo Wagon gained the maximal quantity of stars - five, which indicates that it is a highly safe automobile. Furthermore to active safety features (ESP, EBD, Traction control, ABS, Brake assistant), it is also equipped with passive safety features (driver, head/curtain, passenger, side airbags).
