Rear wheels have ventilated disks, 288 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis using suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following measure - 235/50ZR17.

Jaguar S-Type is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to active safety features (ABS, Traction control, Brake assistant, EBD, ESP), it is also equipped with passive safety features (passenger, side, driver, head/curtain airbags).
