Back wheels have ventilated disks, 288 mm brakes and attached to the chassis with help of suspension type «Independent, pneumatic» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Jaguar XJ is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. In addition to passive safety systems (side, passenger, head/curtain, driver airbags), it is also equipped with active safety systems such as Traction control, Brake assistant, ABS, EBD, ESP.
