Back wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe using suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 215/45R18.

In conformity with the information of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mazda 3 gained the many number of stars - 4, which indicates that it is a reasonably safe car. Furthermore to dynamic safety systems (Brake assistant, ESP, EBD, ABS, Traction control), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (head/curtain, driver, side, passenger airbags).
