Mazda started production from 2009 of autos model 3, modification 2.0 i-stop TS+ and terminated it in 2011. This five-door hatchback has a length of 4.5 meters, weight 1.2 tons and is designed to fit 5 person including the driver.

«3 2.0 i-stop TS+» vehicle with a 6-speed manual gearbox is fitted to the front-wheels. This car can speed up for 10.4 s to 100 km/h, with a max speed of 206 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders petrol motor engine with a «direct injection fuel system», which produce a peak power of 151 hp at 6000 rpm.

Fuel tank capacity of this auto is 55 liters of petrol, thus when medium fuel consumption is 6.8 liters per 100 km (5.4 l on the track, 9.3 l in the city), accordingly allows to go approximately 809 kilometers unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the chassis with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage by dint of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next size - 205/50R17.

According to the information of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mazda 3 received the maximal quantity of stars - five, which indicates that it is a very safe car. In addition to dynamic safety systems (Brake assistant, ABS, EBD, Traction control, ESP), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (driver, passenger, head/curtain, side airbags).
