Mazda launched production in 2013 of autos model 6, modification of SkyActiv-D 2.2 TS. This vehicle has four doors, the body is in the form a sedan, weight 1.4 tons and length 4.9 meters, which can seat 5 people in sum.

«6 SkyActiv-D 2.2 TS» automobile with a 6-speed manual gearbox is connected to the front wheels. This automobile can speed up for 9.1 s to 100 km/h, with a ceiling speed of 211 km/h, thanks to a 4-cylinders diesel motor with a «common rail system», which produce a max output of 150 hp at 4500 rpm.

Fuel consumption is 4.9 liters in the city driving mode, on the track 3.4 liters, and the intermediate fuel consumption is 3.9 liters per 100 km. Gas tank capacity is 62 liters of diesel, what provides to drive approximately 1590 km without refueling.

The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 297 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage by dint of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Back wheels have disks, 278 mm brakes and attached to the underframe by dint of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the next measure - 225/55R17.

In accordance with the data of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mazda 6 gained the maximum quantity of stars - 5, which means that it is a perfect safe car. In addition to passive systems of safety (driver, side, head/curtain, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with active safety systems such as EBD, ABS, Brake assistant, Traction control, ESP.
