Mercedes-Benz started production from 2004 of cars model CL-klasse, modification CL 500 and terminated it in 2006. This vehicle has two doors, the body chassis is shaped like a coupe, weight 1.8 tons and length 5 meters, that allows a seat 4 people in sum.

«CL-klasse CL 500» is a rear wheel drive vehicle with a 7-speed automatic gear shift. The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 330 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, pneumatic» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Rear wheels have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension «Multilink, pneumatic» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following size - 225/55R17.

Mercedes-Benz CL-klasse is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to passive safety (side, passenger, head/curtain, driver airbags), it is also has active systems of safety such as Brake assistant, Traction control, EBD, ABS, ESP.
