From 2005 Mercedes-Benz launched production of automobiles model CLK-klasse, modification of CLK 500 Elegance and closed it in 2006. This automobile has two doors, the body chassis is in the form a coupe, weight 1.6 tons and length 4.7 meters, that allows a seat 4 men in sum.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the body chassis using suspension «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Rearward wheels have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 225/55R17.

Mercedes-Benz CLK-klasse is not certified for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to passive safety features (head/curtain, side, driver, passenger airbags), it is also has active safety systems such as Brake assistant, ABS, EBD, ESP, Traction control.
