In 2009 Mercedes-Benz started production of cars type S-klasse, modification of S 350 4Matic and closed it in 2010. This 4-door sedan has a length of 5.1 meters, weight 1.9 tons and is designed to fit 5 people including the driver.

Rearward wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the underframe with help of suspension type «Multilink, pneumatic» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the next size - 235/55R17.

Mercedes-Benz S-klasse is not examined for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to active safety (ABS, Traction control, Brake assistant, EBD, ESP), it is also has passive systems of safety (side, head/curtain, passenger, driver airbags).
