From 2012 Mitsubishi began production of autos type Outlander, modification of 2.0 ClearTec Intense 2WD. This vehicle has five doors, the body is in the form a SUV & Crossover, weight 1.4 tons and length 4.7 meters, which allows a seat 5 men in sum.

«Outlander 2.0 ClearTec Intense 2WD» is a front-wheel drive car with a variator. This vehicle can be accelerated for 12.2 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 180 km/h, thanks to a 4-cylinders petrol engine with a «multipoint injection fuel system», which generate a maximum output of 150 hp at 6000 rpm.

Normal fuel rate is 6.3 liters per 100 kilometers. Tank capacity is 60 liters of petrol, what lets to drive about 953 km unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 294 mm brakes and attached to the chassis using suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Rear wheels have disks, 302 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 215/70R16.

Mitsubishi Outlander is not examined for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to active systems of safety (ABS, EBD, Brake assistant, Traction control, ESP), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (driver, passenger, side, head/curtain airbags).
