From 1996 Nissan launched manufacture of automobiles type Almera, modification of 2.0 GTi and closed it in 1998. The weight of the car is 1.1 tons and a length of 4.1 meters, It is shaped as hatchback with three doors, and can be fit in 5 person including the driver.

Nissan Almera is not certified for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic safety features (ABS), it is also equipped with passive safety systems (driver, passenger airbags).
