From 2003 Opel launched manufacture of automobiles type Agila, modification of 1.3 CDTi Cosmo and finished it in 2005. In this vehicle can sit 4 men including the driver, it has the form of a minivan with 5 doors, and length 3.5 meters, weight 1 tons.

«Agila 1.3 CDTi Cosmo» vehicle with a 5-speed manual transmission is connected to the front-wheels. 4-cylinders diesel motor with «common rail fuel system» can produce power 70 hp at 4000 rmp, allowing you to speed up the car for 15 seconds to 100 km/h and obtain top speed of 153 km/h.

Fuel consumption is 6.6 liters in the urban mode of driving, on the track 4.4 l, and the normal fuel consumption is 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank capacity is 39 l of diesel, what provides to go about 750 kilometers unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this vehicle have disks, 247 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage through suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Back wheels have drums, 180 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension «Rigid, coil springs». Tires have the next dimensions - 165/60R14.

Opel Agila is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic systems of safety (ABS), it is also equipped with passive safety features (passenger, side, driver airbags).
