From 2008 Opel began manufacture of autos model Insignia, modification of 2.0 CDTI Cosmo and terminated it in 2010. This 4-door sedan has a length of 4.8 meters, weight 1.5 tons and is assigned to sit 5 people including the driver.

«Insignia 2.0 CDTI Cosmo» have a front-wheel drive vehicle with a 6-speed manual gear shift. According to the information of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Opel Insignia gained the maximum number of stars - five, which indicates that it is a very safe auto. Furthermore to passive safety systems (driver, side, passenger, head/curtain airbags), it is also equipped with active safety features such as Traction control, Brake assistant, ESP, EBD, ABS.
