From 2002 Opel started production of autos type Vectra, modification 2.2 DTi-16V Comfort and terminated it in 2004. This four-door sedan has a length of 4.6 meters, weight 1.4 tons and is designed to fit 5 person total.

«Vectra 2.2 DTi-16V Comfort» is a front wheel drive auto with a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The 4-cylinders diesel engine with «direct injection system» can produce output 125 horsepower at 4000 rmp, which allows you to speed up the auto in 11.8 s to 100 km/h and obtain maximum speed of 202 km/h.

Fuel tank volume of this auto is 61 l of diesel, thus when normal fuel consumption is 7.2 liters per 100 km (5.4 l on the track, 10.3 liters in the city), what allows to go roughly 848 kilometers unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 285 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 278 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the following size - 215/55R16.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Opel Vectra got the great quantity of stars - 4, indicating that it is a well safe car. In addition to passive safety features (side, head/curtain, passenger, driver airbags), it is also equipped with active safety systems such as Brake assistant, ABS, EBD, Traction control.
