Peugeot launched production from 2012 of cars model 3008, modification HYbrid4 2.0 HDi and finished it in 2013. This 5-door minivan has a length of 4.4 meters, weight 1.6 tons and is destined to sit 5 people total.

«3008 HYbrid4 2.0 HDi» have a front-wheel drive vehicle with a 6-speed semi automatic transmission. This auto can speed up for 9.2 s to 100 km/h, with a ceiling speed of 191 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders diesel engine with a «common rail fuel system», which generate a maximum output of 163 hp at 3750 rpm.

Fuel rate is 3.6 liters in the city driving mode, on the suburban 3.2 l, and the medium fuel consumption is 3.5 liters per 100 km. Fuel tank capacity is 57 l of diesel, what provides to go approximately 1629 km unrefueled.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 302 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis using suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Rear wheels have disks, 290 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis with help of suspension type «Transverse arms, independent, » and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the following measure - 215/60R16.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Peugeot 3008 gained the higher number of stars - 5, indicating that it is a perfect safe automobile. Furthermore to active safety (Traction control, ABS, Brake assistant, EBD, ESP), it is also equipped with passive safety systems (driver, passenger, side, head/curtain airbags).
