The Porsche 928 holds the status of being a luxurious sporty GT vehicle which was provided by Porsche from the year 1978-1995. Initially aimed for replacing the 911, 928 joined the power, composure and dealing with sports vehicle with sophistication, comfort and better tools for creating a luxurious sedan and the executives developed the concept that it is going to be a car which will have wide appeal in comparison to 911.

Since the initiation in the year 1949 Porsche has made only 7 models with front engines and of them 4 were the coupes and in this list 928 is also included. Vehicle has the reputation of being the only coupe of company, which takes power from V8 engine that is front mounted and first heavily produced model of the company that generates power from V8.
