The Avantime from Renault is counted in one of the biggest flops when the discussion is related with newer versions as it received lower sales and was produced only for a period of two years. Matra designed the car that is actually a maker from France which got into association with the Renault and depicted the initial two door multipurpose vehicle. The idea was introduced in the year 1999 at the Geneva Auto Show however the production was boosted after couple of years. After release the vehicle received criticism for its designing and this managed to get lower sales from around the globe. Production on global scale with difficulty to 8500 units by the year 2003 and in during the same time period Renault made the decision of discontinuing this model. As far as engine is concerned there are three configurations that range between 2.0 &3.0 L with 210 hp.
