From 2011 SsangYong launched manufacture of autos model Korando, modification of 2.0 e-XDi Quartz 2WD. This five-door SUV & Crossover has a length of 4.4 meters, weight 1.6 tons and is designed to fit 5 person including the driver.

«Korando 2.0 e-XDi Quartz 2WD» car with a 6-speed automatic transmission is fitted to the front wheels. 4-cylinders diesel motor with «common rail system» can produce output 175 hp at 4000 rmp, which allows you to speed up the vehicle in 9.9 seconds to 100 km/h and obtain ceiling speed of 186 km/h.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Rear wheels have disks brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the following size - 225/60R17.

SsangYong Korando is not examined for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic safety (ESP, Traction control, Brake assistant, EBD, ABS), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (side, driver, passenger, head/curtain airbags).
