Toyota launched production from 2005 of autos type Aygo, modification of 1.4 D + and closed it in 2008. In this car can sit 5 men including the driver, it has the form of a hatchback with five doors, and length 3.4 meters, weight 0.9 tons.

«Aygo 1.4 D +» vehicle with a 5-speed manual gearbox is connected to the front-wheels. The 4-cylinders diesel engine with «common rail system» can generate power 55 hp at 4000 rmp, allowing you to accelerate the vehicle for 16.8 seconds to 100 km/h and get max speed of 154 km/h.

Fuel rate is 5.3 liters in the city mode of driving, on the track 3.4 l, and the mixed fuel consumption is 4.1 l per 100 km. Fuel tank capacity is 35 l of diesel, what lets to drive about 854 km unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs». Back wheels have drums brakes and fixed to the underframe with help of suspension type «Semi-independent, coil springs». Tires have the next dimensions - 155/65R14.

Toyota Aygo is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. In addition to passive systems of safety (driver, side, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with active safety such as ABS, EBD.
