Manufacturing version D2 R-Design of car models C30 was launched in 2010 by Volvo. This auto has three doors, the body is shaped like a coupe, weight 1.2 tons and length 4.3 meters, which allows a seat 4 men in sum.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 278 mm brakes and attached to the chassis by dint of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 205/50R17.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Volvo C30 got the maximal quantity of stars - five, indicating that it is a highly safe car. In addition to passive safety features (passenger, head/curtain, driver, side airbags), it is also has dynamic systems of safety such as ESP, Traction control, Brake assistant, ABS, EBD.
