From 2004 Volvo started production of cars type V70, modification 2.4 and closed it in 2006. This vehicle has five doors, the body chassis is shaped like a wagon, weight 1.5 tons and length 4.7 meters, which can seat 5 person total.

Fuel consumption is 13.7 liters in the urban driving mode, on the suburban 7.5 liters, and the intermediate fuel consumption is 9.8 liters per 100 km. Fuel tank capacity is 70 l of petrol, what lets to drive nearly 715 km without refueling.

The forward wheels of this automobile have ventilated disks, 305 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis by dint of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Back wheels have disks, 288 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the following size - 195/65VR15.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Volvo V70 gained the lot quantity of stars - 4, indicating that it is a reasonably safe auto. In addition to active systems of safety (EBD, Brake assistant, Traction control, ESP, ABS), it is also has passive safety (head/curtain, driver, side, passenger airbags).
