A4 Cabriolet is presenting an off road age and though it offers rather decent handling the chassis fail to offer the firmness found in the excellent BMW Convertible 3-Series. Driving on rough surfaces the shakes are felt through the body of the car and resultantly the suspension drums the model's imperfections. Reviewing this fact, the Audi A4 Cabriolet is in no way rigid or composed as it is expected to be. The car feels heavy, provides noticeable body roll and is steering sharpness deficient. The engine range offered in vast including a large 4.2 litre V8, however a large majority of buyers prefer smaller units of turbocharged engines such as the 2.0 litre Golf GTI and the 2.0 litre TDI VW Ubiquitous. All engines are effective however missing the CVT automatic is an advantage. There are however two added options available in the form of the Audi's popular DSG semi-auto and the manual option.

The Audi features a tight fitted hood and thick C pillars however it also indicates a darker cabin and a smaller rear mirror. The A4 Cabriolet hood is fully automatic and even at low speeds can be operated. At retraction the fabric fully conceals itself however no significant difference is seen in the boot space it turns from 315 litres to 246 litres. The rear seats largely contain but the side intrusive moldings force the back passengers to occupy the middle of the seats. The front seats are a bit on the edge and a sense of air swirling is felt. The back of the hood noise is heard even when it is lifted even though Audi does offer an option of selecting an acoustic hood that minimizes this sound. The car is a secure investment though as it offers an impressive retained value.
