The 6 series BMW is a strength to strength model which saw its second generation model in the late 2011 which proved to be even more comfortable than the Porsche 911 and enjoyed a better build and desirable statistics compared to the Jaguar XK. The 6 series is available in the form of a convertible, a coupe and a four door option. The coupe with the two doors is much better looking though compared to the cabriolet and gives a better drive too owing to its precise steering and the competent chassis. The prices of the car are a bit high but then so is the residual value. All in all the car is excessively lavish.

The 640d diesel model and the 640i petrol model both offer turbo 3.0 litre engines whereas the top of range 650i contains a V8 4.4 litre unit that produces an immense 407 bhp however the twin turbo diesel run 640d who is the real start with the 3.0 litre unit.
