The Citroen Visa was produced by the French between the years 1978 and 1981. The super-mini model Visa was the first that was produced after the takeover by Peugeot of Citroen in the oil crisis in 1974 under the sharing policy by the PSA Peugeot Citroen. The first versions of the Visa that were launched were "Special" and "Club" and the engines that were available in these models were 1124 cc Dourvin engine or PSA X engine which was a four cylinder "Suitcase engine" which was available for the super model launched in 1984 and the 652 cc 2-cylinder.
