FIAT Bravo · photos, packages and modifications
When you think about the Fiat Bravo model, its dash style would be the first thing that appears in your mind. This was achieved because of the traditional Italian curves and sleek front end along with the solid build quality and tight shut lines. The entry-level of this model gets active with the steel wheels along the plastic trims. But, the body colored mirrors of all the models was standard across one across the range. The range topping sports of this model got with the tidy rear spoiler, a chrome exhaust pipe and the body colored side skirts. Chrome door handles were available in the Dynamic models of the car. The upmarket features including leather trim on the gear lever and the wheel and the climate control were boasted by the cabins of higher-spec.
The entry-level petrol motor of this model was the 90 bhp 1.4 liter 16v as available in the Active or Dynamic trim level versions. But, it was even better to spend extra for getting the punchy 1.4 MultiAir 140 because of the 14 g/km cleaner that was available in that than the smaller engine of other models. The 1.6 Multijet 105 was the cheapest and smallest diesel for this model. But, for the buyers who prefer to go through the combination of an automatic gearbox and diesel engine, it would be better to select with the Multijet 120 that was exclusively available with the Dualogic transmission because of the Dynamic trim. Even though the 2.0 Multijet preferred by the performance fans, it was not riding well and also stiffly sprung one. The Fiat Bravo griped sharply in the corners, but there was lack of weight and feel because of the electronically assisted steering that would also reduce the involvement of the driver.
The five-star Euro NCAP rating was achieved by the Fiat Bravo. All models of this range were available with the standard side and window airbags and in addition to that this model was designed in a way to deactivate parents front passenger airbag along with the ISOFIX. The stability control was the standard one across the range and it included the hill hold assist option. All the trim level versions of this model were available with three head rests in the back. But, the rear seat belt option with the pretensioners and load limiters were included as the optional one on the Sport and Dynamic trim level versions and not available on the Active version. In the 2011 Driver Power reliability survey, 78th place was finished by the Fiat Bravo. This model came up with the anti-corrosion warranty of eight years and genuine Fiat parts fitted in a repair were guaranteed for 12 months.
The height adjustable driver seat was available in all the models of the Fiat Bravo and Dynamic and Sports versions get the option of lumber support as well. Compared to the class leaders, the driving position of this model was still a little cramped one. The rear passenger space of this model was not great, but with headroom as the limited one. But, the cabin stowage option of this model was decent one and the boot capacity of Fiat 365 liter was 15 liter up compared to the Volkswagen Golf. The volume would probably increase to 1,175 liters when you tumble the standard split/fold rear seats. Another standard thing across the range was the space saver spare wheel. When you consider about the features that you can get on the options list, you would probably go through the practical accessories including tow bar, luggage retaining nets, roof bars and a dog separation grille for the efficient performance.
