Kia did not have much experience with MPVs especially since they only went as far to make small or medium-sized models. However, eventually in 1999, they dived right in to make a bigger model, with the name of Joice which could also serve excellently as an SUV, but was not able to do so because of the small wheels and ground clearance that was low. This car had a 2.0 16v engine.
