Volvo launched production in 2012 of automobiles model V60, modification of DRIVe Kinetic. This automobile has 5 doors, the body chassis is in the form a wagon, weight 1.5 tons and length 4.6 meters, which can seat 5 person in sum.

«V60 DRIVe Kinetic» vehicle with a 6-speed sequential automatic transmission is connected to the front-wheels. This automobile can be accelerated for 12.7 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 185 km/h, owing to a 4-cylinders diesel motor engine with a «common rail fuel system», which produce a max power of 115 hp at 3600 rpm.

Fuel rate is 5.1 l in the urban driving mode, on the suburban 4.2 l, and the average fuel consumption is 4.5 liters per 100 km. Tank volume is 68 liters of diesel, what lets to go approximately 1512 km without refueling.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the chassis by dint of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Back wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the underframe through suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 205/60R16.

In conformity with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Volvo V60 got the higher number of stars - 5, which means that it is a perfect safe car. In addition to passive safety features (head/curtain, driver, side, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with active safety such as ESP, ABS, Traction control, EBD, Brake assistant.
