The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 297 mm brakes and fixed to the chassis with help of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Rear wheels have disks, 278 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage by dint of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 225/55R17.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mazda 6 got the maximal number of stars - 5, which means that it is a very safe vehicle.
