From 2000 Mazda began production of cars model 626, modification of 2.0 DiTD Exclusive and closed it in 2002. This automobile has four doors, the body is shaped like a sedan, weight 1.2 tons and length 4.6 meters, which can seat 5 person total.

Back wheels have drums, 223 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage using suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 195/60R15.

Mazda 626 is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to passive safety features (driver, passenger, side airbags), it is also has active safety such as Traction control, ABS.
