In 2012 KIA launched manufacture of autos model Sportage, modification 1.7 CRDi Super Pack. In this auto can fit 5 person including the driver, it has the form of a SUV & Crossover with five doors, and length 4.4 meters, weight 1.4 tons.

«Sportage 1.7 CRDi Super Pack» automobile with a 6-speed manual gear shift is connected to the front-wheels. The 4-cylinders diesel engine with «common rail system» can generate power 115 horsepower at 4000 rmp, which allows you to speed up the vehicle in 12.4 seconds to 100 km/h and reach peak speed of 173 km/h.

Fuel consumption is 6 liters in the city mode of driving, on the highway 4.8 liters, and the average fuel rate is 5.2 liters per 100 km. Gas tank capacity is 58 l of diesel, what lets to go nearly 1116 kilometers without refueling.

The front wheels of this auto have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the chassis by dint of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Rearward wheels have disks brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next size - 225/55R18.

KIA Sportage is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic systems of safety (Brake assistant, ABS, Traction control, ESP, EBD), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (side, head/curtain, driver, passenger airbags).
