In 2005 Mazda launched production of automobiles model 6, modification of 2.0 S-VT Executive and closed it in 2007. This vehicle has four doors, the body chassis is shaped like a sedan, weight 1.3 tons and length 4.7 meters, that allows a seat 5 people in sum.

«6 2.0 S-VT Executive» car with a 5-speed sequential automatic gearbox is fitted to the front wheels. 4-cylinders petrol motor with «multipoint injection fuel system» can produce power 147 horsepower at 6500 rmp, which allows you to speed up the automobile for 10.7 seconds to 100 km/h and achieve top speed of 201 km/h.

Fuel tank capacity of this vehicle is 64 l of petrol, so when average fuel rate is 8.6 l per 100 km (6.6 liters on the suburban, 12.1 l in the urban), that allows drive roughly 745 kilometers without refueling.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 283 mm brakes and attached to the chassis using suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Rear wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next size - 205/55R16.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mazda 6 received the great quantity of stars - four, indicating that it is a well safe automobile. In addition to passive safety systems (side, driver, head/curtain, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with dynamic safety systems such as Brake assistant, Traction control, EBD, ABS, ESP.
