From 2006 Mercedes-Benz launched manufacture of autos type S-klasse, modification S 500 4Matic Lang and terminated it in 2009. This four-door sedan has a length of 5.2 meters, weight 2 tons and is designed to sit 5 people including the driver.

«S-klasse S 500 4Matic Lang» have a full wheel drive car with a 7-speed sequential automatic gearbox. The 8-cylinders petrol motor with «multipoint injection system» can produce output 388 horsepower at 6000 rmp, allowing you to speed up the auto in 5.4 s to 100 km/h and reach peak speed of 250 km/h.

Fuel rate is 18.1 l in the urban driving mode, on the suburban 8.9 liters, and the average fuel consumption is 12.2 liters per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank capacity is 90 l of petrol, what provides to drive roughly 738 kilometers unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension «Double wishbone, independent, pneumatic» and equipped sway bar. Back wheels have disks brakes and attached to the undercarriage using suspension «Multilink, pneumatic» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 235/55R17.

Mercedes-Benz S-klasse is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to dynamic safety systems (Traction control, ESP, Brake assistant, ABS, EBD), it is also equipped with passive safety systems (driver, head/curtain, side, passenger airbags).
