The forward wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis with help of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Back wheels have disks, 292 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe through suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following measure - 215/60R16.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Opel Zafira got the higher number of stars - five, indicating that it is a perfect safe car. Furthermore to dynamic systems of safety (Traction control, ESP, ABS, EBD, Brake assistant), it is also equipped with passive safety (passenger, driver, head/curtain, side airbags).
