From 2005 Subaru began manufacture of cars model Legacy, modification of 2.0R and terminated it in 2006. This four-door sedan has a length of 4.7 meters, weight 1.3 tons and is destined to fit 5 passengers total.

«Legacy 2.0R» car with a 5-speed manual transmission is connected to the full-wheels. 4-cylinders petrol motor engine with «multipoint injection fuel system» can generate power 165 horsepower at 6800 rmp, which allows you to accelerate the automobile for 9.5 s to 100 km/h and obtain ceiling speed of 214 km/h.

Fuel rate is 12.2 liters in the urban mode of driving, on the track 6.8 liters, and the intermediate fuel rate is 8.7 liters per 100 km. Fuel tank volume is 64 liters of petrol, what allow you to go nearly 736 km unrefueled.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the chassis using suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Rear wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the undercarriage through suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 205/55R16.

Subaru Legacy is not certified for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to active systems of safety (EBD, ABS), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (side, driver, passenger airbags).
