Rear wheels have drums brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension type «Semi-independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the following measure - 195/55HR15.

Opel Astra Stationwagon is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to passive safety systems (driver, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with dynamic safety such as ABS.
