CHEVROLET TrailBlazer · photos, packages and modifications

GM introduced TrailBlazer, which is a large sports utility vehicle in North America as a 2000 year old model in late 1999. This car is an upgraded model of the Chevy Blazer, and the new model has a wide variety of modifications, which has made this car greatly popular. In fact, the model that was released in 2002 was able to win the award of North American Truck of the Year. In 2005, this model underwent a 2-door configuration, which was to come in the dealership in the same years. The model released in 2006 had a facelift, which also had a better redesigned front fascia. This model was able to discontinue production in late 2008. It was to be replaced with the new Traverse.

Once the new Trailblazer was launched, General Motors decided to introduce a 7-seat version of the model, which had three rows, known as Extended. This model was introduced to the public simultaneously when the Trailblazer started featuring a higher and longer body. The Oklahoma City Plant assembled this particular version. The EXT was discontinued in 2006 when General Motors closed their Oklahoma factory in 2006. After the EXT was discontinued, the company launched a new model known as the SS (Super Short) in 2006.

This model was able to get a Super Sport badge, which was the first time a production SUV won this award. This new model had a 6.0 L LS2 V8, which had the same engine as that of the Chevrolet Corvette. The LS2 is able to deliver a horsepower of 395 and is able to deliver 400 lb-ft of torque. It is also capable of accelerating from 0 to 60mph within 5.8 seconds, along with accelerating quarter mile times within 13.5 seconds at 100.0 mph. The other features also include the 4-speed automatic transmission, a 4.10 ratio slip rear, a cold air package, along with brilliantly deigned front brakes that had brake pads similar to that of a Corvette, and a ZQ8 sport suspension. In addition, it also had an optional all-wheel drive.

This particular line of TrailBlazer has achieved more brilliance due to the TrailBlazer SS. This range also has a LT version. This version has a Vortec engine that has a six-cylinder 4.2L capacity, which is able to deliver a 285 horsepower at 600 rpm, and torque of 276 lb-ft at 4600 rpm. There are different colors that are available in the 2008 TrailBlazer version, which includes sand beige metallic, silver moss metallic as well as silver ice metallic.
