In 2004 Mercedes-Benz began production of autos model S-klasse, modification of S 320 CDI Lang Prestige and finished it in 2005. The weight of the car is 1.9 tons and a length of 5.2 m, It is formed as sedan with four doors, and may be placed in a 5 people including the driver.

«S-klasse S 320 CDI Lang Prestige» have a rear wheel drive automobile with a 5-speed automatic gear shift. The 6-cylinders diesel motor with «common rail system» can produce output 204 horsepower at 4200 rmp, which allows you to accelerate the automobile for 8.2 seconds to 100 km/h and obtain top speed of 235 km/h.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 312 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis using suspension «Double wishbone, independent, pneumatic» and equipped with sway bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension «Multilink, pneumatic» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the next measure - 225/60VR16.

Mercedes-Benz S-klasse is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic safety (EBD, Traction control, ESP, Brake assistant, ABS), it is also has passive safety systems (side, passenger, driver, head/curtain airbags).
