In 1990 Opel launched production of cars model Calibra, modification of 2.0i and closed it in 1996. This 3-door coupe has a length of 4.5 meters, weight 1.2 tons and is destined to fit 5 passengers total.

«Calibra 2.0i» have a front-wheel drive auto with a 4-speed automatic gearbox. This car can be accelerated for 12 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 200 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders petrol motor engine with a «multipoint injection system», which generate a maximum output of 116 horsepower at 5200 rpm.

Normal fuel rate is 8.1 l per 100 kilometers. Tank capacity is 63 l of petrol, what allow you to go roughly 778 kilometers without refueling.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the undercarriage through suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Rear wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the body chassis with help of suspension type «Longitudinal arms, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the following measure - 195/60HR14.

Opel Calibra is not tested for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to dynamic safety features (ABS), it is also has passive safety (driver, passenger airbags).
