Back wheels have ventilated disks, 330 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis by dint of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the next size - 225/55R17.

According to the information of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of BMW 5-series received the maximal quantity of stars - five, which indicates that it is a perfect safe vehicle. Furthermore to dynamic safety systems (ESP, EBD, Brake assistant, ABS, Traction control), it is also equipped with passive safety systems (passenger, head/curtain, side, driver airbags).
