BMW launched production in 2010 of automobiles model 5-series, modification 520d Executive and terminated it in 2011. In this car can fit 5 men total, it has the form of a sedan with four doors, and length 4.9 meters, weight 1.6 tons.
«5-series 520d Executive» automobile with a 8-speed sequential automatic gearbox is connected to the rear-wheels. The 4-cylinders diesel motor with «common rail system» can generate output 184 hp at 4000 rmp, which allows you to accelerate the car for 8.1 s to 100 km/h and achieve top speed of 227 km/h.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 330 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe using suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Back wheels have ventilated disks, 330 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next measure - 225/55R17.
According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of BMW 5-series gained the maximum number of stars - 5, which means that it is a highly safe auto. In addition to passive safety features (passenger, head/curtain, driver, side airbags), it is also has dynamic safety such as Traction control, ABS, ESP, EBD, Brake assistant.
