In 2010 Ford launched manufacture of automobiles model C-MAX, modification of 2.0 TDCI Trend. This 5-door minivan has a length of 4.4 meters, weight 1.5 tons and is assigned to fit 5 person including the driver.

«C-MAX 2.0 TDCI Trend» have a front wheel drive automobile with a 6-speed sequential automatic gear shift. This car can be accelerated for 10.1 s to 100 km/h, with a peak speed of 200 km/h, owing to a 4-cylinders diesel motor with a «common rail system», which generate a max power of 140 hp at 3750 rpm.

Fuel rate is 7.1 liters in the city driving mode, on the track 4.8 liters, and the medium fuel rate is 5.6 l per 100 kilometers. Gas tank capacity is 60 l of diesel, what provides to go approximately 1072 kilometers unrefueled.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe through suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following measure - 205/55R16.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Ford C-MAX got the higher number of stars - five, indicating that it is a perfect safe automobile. Furthermore to dynamic safety systems (ESP, ABS, Brake assistant, Traction control, EBD), it is also has passive systems of safety (passenger, side, head/curtain, driver airbags).
